Merry Christmas!!!
It’s December 25! I hope everyone is having a nice time with family and friends. We had our Christmas yesterday, in the Brazilian tradition. We had an awesome dinner and opened presents after. My lovely wife cooked much more food than the six of us could possibly eat, and dessert could have been another dinner.
.
I’m off to work in an hour or so. Unbelievably, we have a major unit start-up going on today, so it’s likely going to be a busy night at the oil refinery. I’ve got folks that have been working 12 hour shifts every day for a couple of months to get this scheduled unit maintenance outage completed. I’m grateful for their hard work and dedication. I’m sure that Christmas is a little different at their homes this year. If you use gasoline, you benefit from their efforts as well. When you sit down to that big dinner tonight, remember those folks that have to work this holiday – some of them outside in nasty conditions, so we can enjoy our American lifestyle.
Here’s wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.
Due to the holiday, I’m postponing the Global Warming rant that I was going to post today – maybe tomorrow. I know everyone’s so disappointed….
Instead, I’m going to post a picture of my granddaughter. Why? Because it’s my blog.
Merry Christmas!
Greg
